Born in 1983, Mesay Tefera grew up surrounded by music, listening to Ethiopia’s classic sounds. As a teenager, he began writing lyrics and experimenting with melodies, driven by a deep love for storytelling through music. He worked tirelessly to perfect his craft, knowing he had something unique to offer.
His breakthrough came with the release of "Yeleben," a deeply emotional song that quickly gained popularity. With a mix of contemporary Ethiopian rhythms and heartfelt lyrics, Mesay’s music spoke to the soul. He followed up with "Yebichaye," further proving his ability to create powerful, lasting melodies.
